COMIT has been awarded a project of mobile network optimization from VNP (VinaPhone) - the third largest mobile operator in Vietnam.

COMIT Telecom Services Corp. (a subsidiary of COMIT Corporation) is about completing its 1st stage of testing Electro-Magnetic Field and earth resistance for VMS (MobiFone). The 1st stage covers about 700 BTSs in Hanoi and HCMC. The 2nd stage will cover over 1500 BTSs in other provinces.

COMIT has just completed the delivery of over 40 optical splicers Fujikura FSM-60S and 50 OTDRs JDSU MTS-6000 to Viettel. This delivery has increased the number of Fujikura optical splicers and JDSU OTDRs those have been used in Viettel network up to hundreds.

VNP (VinaPhone) selected Nemo Handy solution for its in-building coverage test. This is the second mobile operotor deploying Nemo Handy in Vietnam, after VMS (MobiFone).
|

A contract between COMIT and GPC was signed, in which dedicated that COMIT Corporation ensured to supply 7 units of Nemo Outdoor plus the software of Nemo Technologies (Finland) to GPC and its regional branches. With these products, GPC can measure and monitor its wireless network fastly and accurately.

After successful use of Acterna 8630 (the advanced telecom protocol analyzer) in its northern and sothern networks, Viettel is continuing to deploy a another system for maintaining its mobile network in central provinces of Vietnam.
The system equips Viettel with strong features and functions for monitoring and troubleshooting both core and radio access networks. It supports decode packages for SS7 including Camel Phase 2, GSM/GPRS, Ericsson, Alcatel, etc.
The Acterna 86xx has been deployed in many organizations, for instance, VMS, RIPT, PTQC, HCMC Telcos, and etc.

Hanoi, 15 September 2004 - COMIT is awarded with a big contract to supply Fujikura optical arc fusion splicers and Acterna OTDR testers to Viettel Corporation, the second largest telecom operator in Vietnam. To date, Viettel uses the most Acterna OTDR testers and only Fujikura splicers for installing and maintaining its optical network.
