Viettel chose COMIT as the bid winner to provide 50 sets of optical arc fusion splicer Fujikura FSM-50S to support its various splicing tasks with user-selectable front and back monitor positioning. This is the bid with biggest volume of optical arc fusion splicer that COMIT has ever gained; increased the total number of arc fusion splicer Fujikura supplied by COMIT to Viettel to 80 sets.
To this Fujikura FSM-50S, a number of improvements have been added to the performance-proven Profile Alignment System (PAS) platform, resulting in the smallest and lightest package of its kind. With improved splice & tube-heat time, the splicing operation is the world's fastest truly optimized for field use. Other valuable features include an ergonomic design, reduced numbers of operating steps and a powerful battery extend the boundaries of traditional field fusion splicing performance. The movable monitor and dual-direction operating system essentially gives the operator a choice of two splicers.
Besides, COMIT also won the bid of provide 10 sets of Bird SA-6000EX Cable and Antenna Testers to support its CDMA, GSM, TDMA and AMPS networks with frequency range to 6000 Mhz, 15 sets of JDSU EDT-135 E1 and Data Tester and 10 sets of JDSU OLP-55 Pocket-sized Optical Power Meter.
